- Keong Hong Holdings Limited is a Singapore-based investment holding company primarily engaged in building construction, property development and investment, and hotel development and investment. Founded in 1983, incorporated in 2008, and headquartered in Singapore, the group operates across domestic and international markets, including Singapore, the Maldives, and Japan. Keong Hong Holdings Limited organizes its operations into four primary business segments: Building Construction, Property Development, Hotel Development and Investment, and Investment Property. Its core products and services include: comprehensive building construction, civil engineering, design-and-build services, structural works, additions and alterations (A&A), and facility refurbishment for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments; specialized construction solutions and architectural carpentry, comprising metal formworks, timber flooring, exterior decking, and specialized roofing systems; property development solutions, encompassing the co-development, joint venturing, and sale of private condominiums, executive condominiums (ECs), and mixed-use properties; hotel development, hospitality investment, and asset ownership, encompassing upscale island resorts including the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort and Pullman Maldives Maamutaa Resort; and real estate investment and property management services, comprising the leasing and management of commercial office and retail assets, including properties situated in Osaka, Japan. The group executes construction operations primarily through its key operating subsidiary, Keong Hong Construction Pte. Ltd., which maintains an A1 grading from the Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) for general building works, entitling it to tender for public sector projects of unlimited value. In recent developments, Keong Hong Holdings Limited has pursued strategic capital recycling and portfolio optimization through targeted asset sales, including divesting its equity interest in Katong Holdings Pte. Ltd. to bolster balance sheet liquidity and support working capital requirements. In addition, the group established KH Hospitality Holdings Pte. Ltd. to manage and expand its hospitality asset interests, while implementing operational restructuring, rigorous cost containment measures, and focused bidding on selective, higher-margin public and private construction tenders to drive operational recovery and fulfill regulatory criteria following its placement on the SGX Watch-List.
