Business
Intraco Limited is an investment holding company that operates across fire protection and building materials, trading and distribution of industrial plastics, telecommunications and technology infrastructure, and financial advisory services. Incorporated in 1968 and headquartered in Singapore, the company conducts operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the People's Republic of China, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Intraco operates through four primary business segments: Fire Protection, Trading and Distribution, Telecommunications, and Financial Services. The Fire Protection segment, operated primarily through the KA Group, manufactures, fabricates, and distributes passive fire protection systems and specialized architectural products, including fire-rated timber and steel doors; acoustic doors; fire-rated glass and glazed partition systems; smoke and fire curtain assemblies; fire-stopping seals and penetration collars; intumescent coatings for structural steel; and customized fire-resistant building materials for commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure projects. The Trading and Distribution segment supplies industrial raw materials and bulk polymer resins, including high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, and specialty engineering plastics to manufacturing converters and packaging producers. The Telecommunications segment provides critical wireless and communications solutions, including terrestrial trunked radio systems; digital mobile radio networks; wireless broadband transmission equipment; radio frequency antenna systems; telecommunications engineering design; and system integration, maintenance, and technical support services for maritime, public transport, defense, and industrial enterprises. The Financial Services segment, operating through Taurus Point Capital Pte. Ltd., provides corporate finance advisory, capital market solutions, fund management support, and digital asset structuring services. In recent major developments, Intraco has expanded its strategic footprint in digital securities and tokenized capital markets, partnering with the Singapore Digital Asset Exchange to structure and issue multi-tranche tokenized commercial paper facilities and digital debt instruments. The company has also established strategic initiatives in the digital health sector through a corporate healthcare collaboration with MHC Asia Group, broadened its sustainable product offerings to include eco-friendly and bio-based plastic resins, and reorganized manufacturing infrastructure within the KA Group to scale regional export capabilities for high-specification passive fire safety systems across Southeast Asian infrastructure developments.
