Founded in 1990 and headquartered at 111 Somerset Road in Singapore, the company changed its name from Raffles Education Corporation Limited in October 2022; recent developments include the announced sale of Raffles Education Square at 51 Merchant Road in Singapore's Clarke Quay for S$121.8 million to a joint venture of LaSalle Investment Management and Elevate Capital Group, expected to complete by end-January 2026, yielding net proceeds of S$121.3 million to optimize its balance sheet, extinguish associated debt, and redeploy capital into working capital and higher-yielding initiatives, as well as the divestment of its stake in Hefei Yuren Management Co Ltd for approximately S$76 million, generating a net cash inflow to streamline operations.
