Business
Overseas Education Limited is a Singapore-based investment holding company that provides private international education services to the children of foreign expatriates, multinational executives, and diplomatic personnel living in Singapore. The company operates through its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Overseas Family School Limited, which manages the Overseas Family School (OFS), an accredited, co-educational foreign system school serving students aged 2 to 18 years representing more than 70 nationalities. Overseas Education Limited structures its educational operations across four primary academic divisions: Kindergarten, which delivers the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) for early childhood education; Elementary School, which administers the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for Grades 1 through 5; Middle School, which provides the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Grades 6 through 8; and High School, which offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) alongside the Overseas Family School High School Diploma for Grades 9 through 12. In addition to mainstream curricula, the company provides specialized academic and student support services comprising the integrated Study Preparation Program (SPP), a structured three-tier English language immersion and acquisition framework (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) provided at no additional tuition fee; the Mother Tongue Program, which offers formal native-language literacy instruction integrated into the regular school timetable across more than 15 languages; pastoral care and global university matriculation counseling; and co-curricular enrichment programs encompassing Model United Nations (MUN), competitive inter-school athletics within the Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools (ACSIS), performing arts, music, design technology, and structured chess education. The company delivers its services from a purpose-built, five-hectare, Green Mark-certified mega-campus in Pasir Ris, Singapore, featuring an Olympic-sized 50-meter swimming pool, a junior training pool, an all-weather football and rugby field, five shaded basketball courts, three multi-purpose sports halls, four libraries, dedicated science and computer laboratories, visual art studios, and a black box theatre. In recent operational and corporate developments, Overseas Education Limited has focused on maintaining enrollment stability and capital discipline, continuing its consistent annual dividend distribution policy for shareholders across the 2024 and 2025 financial years while managing long-term campus leasehold obligations. The company has expanded its specialized student enrichment offerings, earning Gold Level accreditation under the International Chess Federation (FIDE) School Awards framework, while further upgrading campus digital learning tools and advancing its sustainability framework to align with enhanced Singapore Exchange climate-related disclosure standards. Overseas Family School was founded in 1991, and Overseas Education Limited was incorporated in 2011, subsequently listing on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange (SGX: RQ1) in 2013, with its corporate headquarters located in Singapore.
