Business
Sonoro Gold Corp. is an active mineral development enterprise concentrated on the procurement, exploration, and advancement of precious metal assets within Mexico. The company primarily targets gold and silver concentrations. Its principal asset, the Cerro Caliche Group of Concessions, spans approximately 1,400 hectares in the Cucurpe municipality, Sonora, Mexico. This project is currently in its final permitting phase for an envisioned open-pit, heap leach mining operation designed for an initial 12,000 tonnes per day. Sonoro Gold aims to bring Cerro Caliche into production to generate cash flow, which will then fuel further exploration and potential expansion of the mine. Recent corporate milestones include securing 100% of both the surface rights and mineral concessions for the Cerro Caliche project in 2025, alongside successful private placements to advance development. The company is also progressing an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment for Cerro Caliche, anticipated in early 2026, and is exploring a strategic spin-off for its San Marcial gold-silver project. Sonoro Gold Corp. maintains its corporate base in Vancouver, Canada.
