Steel Partners Holdings L.P. (OTCQX: SPLP) is a global diversified holding company that owns and operates businesses across multiple industries, including diversified industrial products, energy, defense, supply chain management and logistics, banking, and youth sports. The company operates through key segments: Diversified Industrial, which encompasses manufacturers of engineered niche industrial products such as joining materials, tubing, building materials, performance materials, electrical products, cutting tools, and packaging; Energy, which provides drilling and production services to the oil and gas industry and includes youth sports operations; Financial Services, primarily through WebBank, a Utah-chartered industrial bank offering consumer and small business loans, credit cards, deposits, syndicated lending, and finance solutions; Supply Chain, delivering end-to-end worldwide supply chain management and logistics; and Corporate and Other, holding equity investments and cash equivalents. Founded in February 1990 by Warren G. Lichtenstein and headquartered in New York, the company employs 5,200 people across 90 locations in 14 countries, generating combined revenues exceeding $2 billion from its holdings. Recent developments include the January 2025 completion of the acquisition of remaining shares in Steel Connect, Inc., making it an indirect wholly owned subsidiary; the April 2025 voluntary delisting from the NYSE and SEC deregistration to streamline operations; the November 2025 launch of a Rotational Leadership Program to develop future leaders; and the appointment of Bobby Valentine to the Steel Sports advisory board in November 2025.
