Optowide Technologies Co., Ltd. is a China-based technology enterprise primarily engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, and sale of precision optical components, fiber optic devices, and optical test and measurement instruments. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, the company provides photonics solutions to original equipment manufacturers and system integrators across telecommunications, data centers, fiber lasers, semiconductor capital equipment, augmented reality (AR) consumer optics, biomedical instrumentation, and quantum information science. Optowide classifies its product and service offerings into three main categories: Precision Optical Components, which includes planar optical elements, spherical lenses, molded glass aspheric lenses, diffraction gratings, crystal components, thin-film optical coatings, and complex precision optical assemblies; Fiber Optic Devices, which includes high-power fiber optic combiners, collimators, acousto-optic modulators, optical filters, fiber arrays, and passive optical components tailored for high-speed optical transceivers, optical circuit switching (OCS), and co-packaged optics (CPO) systems; and Optical Test and Measurement Instruments, which includes high-speed tunable lasers, laser scanning analyzers, optical channel monitors, multi-channel optical power meters, optical spectrum analyzers, and automated optical test modules. The company conducts business globally, maintaining research, development, and manufacturing operations across domestic facilities in Fuzhou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Hefei, Kunshan, and Nanjing, as well as international operations in the United States and Thailand. In recent operational developments, Optowide strengthened its downstream testing and instrumentation portfolio by acquiring a 51.13% controlling stake in United States-based GouMax Technology, Inc. and establishing its domestic subsidiary GouMax Optical Communication Technology (Fujian) Co., Ltd. Additionally, to capitalize on AI-driven optical computing and consumer AR optical demand, Optowide executed strategic geographic expansions by establishing Optowide Optical Communication Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. for optical engine development, Optowide Optical Communication Technology (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd. for passive component manufacturing, Optowide Vision Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. for diffractive optical waveguide and AR light engine industrialization, taking a controlling stake in Hefei Zhongbo Functional Materials Co., Ltd., and constructing a manufacturing base in Thailand to support overseas delivery capabilities.
