Key subsidiaries include Skånska Byggvaror AB, an online specialist in refined building products founded in 1965 and acquired by Byggmax in 2016 for SEK 936 million; BYGGmax AB, focused on DIY home improvement; and Svea Distribution AB. In recent developments, the company has strengthened profitability through operational efficiencies, including a 50% reduction in out-of-stock products, optimized inventory management and enhanced e-commerce logistics, driving net sales growth of 5.6% to SEK 2.2 billion in Q2 2025 and an improved EBITA margin of 10.8%; additionally, key personnel acquired up to 440,000 warrants under the 2025/2028 incentive program, while the Nomination Committee saw a membership change in November 2025.
