- Storm Exploration Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of precious- and base-metal mineral properties, with a primary focus on district-scale gold, copper and zinc opportunities in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The Company’s principal assets comprise the 100%-owned Gold Standard Project, a road-accessible property located approximately 60 kilometres north of Fort Frances that hosts a large volcanogenic massive sulphide target associated with a five-kilometre electromagnetic conductivity anomaly; the Keezhik Project, located in the Miminiska–Fort Hope greenstone belt approximately 380 kilometres north of Thunder Bay and comprising approximately 12,482 hectares; and the Attwood Project, also located in the Miminiska–Fort Hope greenstone belt and covering approximately 22,230 hectares prospective for gold, copper and other critical minerals. Storm conducts geological mapping, prospecting, geochemical sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys, target generation, permitting and diamond drilling to identify and delineate mineralized systems; it does not operate producing mines or generate material operating revenue from mineral sales. The Company was incorporated in 1986, changed its name from Lithoquest Resources Inc. to Storm Exploration Inc. in October 2022, and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol STRM. Recent strategic developments include the February 2026 exercise of its option to acquire the Miminiska and Keezhik projects from Landore Resources Canada Inc. and the subsequent sale of the Miminiska Project to Canadian Goldfields Discovery Corp. for total consideration of $5.8125 million; continued concentration of exploration activities on Gold Standard, Keezhik and Attwood; commencement of drilling at Gold Standard in September 2026 following receipt of a three-year drill permit for the property’s VMS target; and completion in September 2026 of an oversubscribed non-brokered private placement of 8,000,000 units at $0.40 per unit for gross proceeds of $3.2 million, following an earlier July 2026 $2.95 million financing, with proceeds intended in part to fund exploration and drilling programs.
