Mullen Group Ltd. (TSX:MTL) operates as one of Canada's largest logistics providers, offering a wide range of transportation, warehousing, distribution, and specialized industrial services across North America through a network of independently operated businesses headquartered in Okotoks, Alberta; founded in 1949, the company went public in 1993 and divides its operations into four segments: Less-Than-Truckload, Logistics & Warehousing, Specialized & Industrial Services, and U.S. & International Logistics. Its core offerings include less-than-truckload and truckload transportation; third-party logistics and customs brokerage; warehousing, transload, and oversized hauling; as well as specialized services for energy, mining, forestry, construction, and infrastructure sectors such as water management, fluid hauling, environmental reclamation, pipeline and civil construction, industrial cleaning and turnarounds, dewatering, pump solutions, oilfield production services including rig moving and heavy crude transport, drilling-related fluid handling, and equipment maintenance through subsidiaries like Cascade Energy Services L.P., Canadian Dewatering L.P., Premay Equipment L.P., E-Can Oilfield Services L.P., and others. The company serves diverse customers including oil and natural gas producers, manufacturers, retailers, and municipalities primarily in western Canada and the United States. Mullen Group continues its long-standing acquisition strategy, having completed over 87 deals since inception including the December 2024 purchase of Pacific Northwest Moving (Yukon) Limited (PNW Group) to bolster less-than-truckload operations in Yukon Territory and northern Alberta, and the integration of Cole International Inc. (Cole Group) whose Canadian and U.S. operations contributed significant incremental revenue and OIBDA in Q3 2025; in July 2025, it closed a private placement of $325.0 million and US$50.0 million in new debt to refinance October 2026 notes and repay bank facilities, supporting ongoing growth amid weak private capital investment and economic challenges in Canada.
