- Summit Royalties Ltd. operates as a precious-metals royalty and streaming company that acquires, holds and manages royalties and metal-streaming interests in mining projects, providing investors with exposure to gold, silver and other mineral production without directly operating mines. The Company’s portfolio comprises 48 royalty and streaming assets, including four producing assets and development- and exploration-stage interests. Its principal interests include a 50% silver stream on the Bomboré mine in Ganzourgou Province, Burkina Faso, operated by Orezone Gold Corporation; an $80-per-ounce production royalty on the first 250,000 ounces of gold sold and a subsequent 1.5% net smelter returns royalty on Jaguar Mining Inc.’s Pitangui project in Minas Gerais, Brazil; a 0.5% net smelter returns royalty on Denarius Metals Corp.’s Zancudo mine in Titiribí, Colombia; a 3.0% net smelter returns royalty on Lavras Gold Corp.’s Lavras do Sul project in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil; a 1.0% net smelter returns royalty on West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd.’s Madsen mine in Ontario, Canada; royalty interests in the AurMac gold project in Yukon, Canada; and a 4% gold stream on Mining Americas Inc.’s Copperstone project in Arizona, United States. The portfolio also includes a 2% mineral royalty on the Keysbrook mineral-sands operation in Western Australia and additional interests across precious-metals, base-metals, industrial-mineral and exploration properties. Summit targets mining operators and project developers in Canada, the United States, Latin America, Africa and Australia, generating or seeking to generate revenue through royalty payments and deliveries of streamed metals linked to underlying mine production and commodity prices. The Company traces its current operating platform to its initial royalty and stream transaction in May 2025 and completed a reverse takeover of Eagle Royalties Ltd. in November 2025, after which its common shares began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SUM. Summit is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In July 2026, the Company completed the acquisition of Star Royalties Ltd. through a plan of arrangement, issuing 28,944,162 common shares of Summit at an exchange ratio of 0.36 Summit shares per Star share; the transaction expanded Summit’s portfolio to 48 royalties and streams, added the Copperstone gold stream, and added Star’s interests in Green Star Royalties Ltd., a royalty platform focused on carbon credits, cleantech and decarbonization projects. Concurrently, Summit appointed former Star executives Kevin MacLean as Chief Investment Officer and Kathy Lai as Vice President, Finance, and appointed Jay Layman to its board. In July 2026, Summit also entered into a revolving credit agreement with National Bank of Canada providing an initial US$25 million commitment and an accordion feature for up to an additional US$25 million, for total potential borrowing capacity of US$50 million; the three-year facility supports working capital, general corporate purposes and permitted royalty and streaming acquisitions.
