Stryker Corporation is a medical technology company that develops, manufactures and markets orthopaedic implants; surgical and neurotechnology products; medical and surgical equipment; patient handling, emergency medical and intensive care products; endoscopic and communications systems; and digital and robotic-enabled solutions for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and other healthcare providers. Founded in 1941 and headquartered in Portage, Michigan, the company operates globally through company-owned subsidiaries, branches and distributors, serving customers in approximately 75 countries. Its business is organized primarily into MedSurg and Neurotechnology and Orthopaedics, with product lines spanning Instruments, Endoscopy, Medical, Vascular, Neuro Cranial, Knees, Hips, Trauma and Extremities, and related technologies, including Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery systems and other surgical planning and navigation platforms. In 2025, Stryker expanded through the acquisition of Inari Medical, strengthening its peripheral vascular portfolio, while also completing other acquisitions during the year and reporting the sale of its U.S. spinal implants business as part of a portfolio reshaping. In 2026, the company continued its expansion strategy by completing the acquisition of Amplitude Vascular Systems to add intravascular lithotripsy technology, announcing a definitive agreement to acquire ZuriMED to enhance its shoulder offering, and launching new products including the Gamma4 Hip Fracture Nailing System in Europe, reflecting ongoing investment in new technologies and targeted portfolio growth.
