Its chemical product portfolio includes caustic soda, propylene oxide, polyether, polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated benzene, liquid chlorine, and over 20 other chemical varieties used across industries such as alumina, steel, chemical fiber, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, polyurethane, and construction. The company also provides a wide range of electronic products including electronic components, thick film integrated circuits, radio frequency chips, controllers, processors, memories, bus interfaces, high-speed AD/DA converters, analog switches, operational amplifiers, modules, LTCC and aluminum nitride substrates, printed circuit boards, surface mount technology, gold wire and aluminum wire bonding, communication antennas, Internet of Things (IoT) products, integrated passive devices (IPD), system-in-package (SiP) products, tube casings, conductor pastes, transistors, and auxiliary materials. These electronic products serve sectors such as communication, industrial control, automotive electronics, medical electronics, signal processing, power modules, variable speed motor control, aviation, aerospace, and maritime. Additionally, the company offers AI computing power and network solutions, optical network solutions, optical modules, as well as active optical cables (AOC) and direct attach cables (DAC). Hangjin is also engaged in storage and transportation, investment, military research and development, information technology services, and technical promotion services. Founded in 1939 and headquartered in Wuhan, China, the company operates through chemical and electronics segments. Formerly known as Fangda Jinhua Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., it rebranded to Hangjin Technology Co., Ltd. in April 2018. Recently, Hangjin Technology commenced a CNY 400 million equity buyback plan authorized in early 2024 to enhance shareholder value, reflecting strategic financial management efforts. The company remains a leading producer in China with top capacities in ionic membrane caustic soda and propylene oxide production, holding a strong position both domestically and in Asia. It actively partners with international and domestic IT distributors for its AI and optical network solutions, emphasizing a global outlook for expansion beyond China. Hangjin’s chemical production bases rank among China’s largest, and it has diversified into high-tech electronics and intelligent computing power sectors as part of its dual business strategy aimed at leveraging historic chlor-alkali strengths while capitalizing on electronics innovation. This diversified portfolio and recent operational initiatives underscore Hangjin Technology's commitment to growth in both traditional chemical manufacturing and emerging technology markets.
