Business
National Metal Manufacturing and Casting Company (Maadaniyah) is a Saudi joint-stock industrial firm specializing in the manufacture and sale of metal engineering products and services. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the company operates through three main segments: Transformation Industries, Engineering and Metal Forming Industries, and Industrial Valves. Its core products include high carbon steel wire products such as wire drawing, PC strands for construction and infrastructure projects, spring wire, high and low carbon galvanized wire, fasteners including nails and bolts, welding wire, metal castings including machined castings, axles and spare parts for heavy transport vehicles, trucks, and various industrial equipment. Maadaniyah supplies these products primarily to the automotive, agricultural, water, crushing and mining, cement plant, oil and gas, petrochemical, engineering, and general manufacturing industries both within Saudi Arabia and internationally across more than 14 countries. The company owns and operates three main manufacturing facilities: a wire drawing and products plant in Jubail Industrial City, an axles and spare parts factory in Dammam Industrial City, and a foundry factory also located in Dammam. It additionally provides technical and engineering services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, and general engineering sectors. The company has recently focused on strategic expansions and operational efficiency improvements, including narrowing financial losses reported in the first half of 2025, while maintaining its broad product portfolio and market presence. It continues to enhance its engineering capabilities and manufacturing capacity in key product lines such as steel strands and axles, reaffirming its leadership position as the first and largest manufacturer of PC strands and axle products in the Middle East. Maadaniyah is a subsidiary of the National Industrialization Company (Tasnee), one of Saudi Arabia’s largest industrial and petrochemical firms, which helps underpin its strong market presence and regional influence. The company is listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange under the ticker 2220.SR and serves diverse markets including construction, automotive, heavy vehicle manufacturing, mining, and energy sectors across the Gulf region and beyond. Recent developments include operational refinements and sustained investments in product quality and service expansion to reinforce competitive positioning within Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.
