Business
Riyadh Cables Group Company (4142.SR), founded in 1984 and headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's Second Industrial City, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of wires and cables for power transmission, distribution, and communication sectors. The company produces wires; low, medium, and high/extra high voltage cables; overhead line conductors including aerial bundle cables and high temperature low sag conductors; instrumentation and control cables; renewable energy cables; fiber optic and telephone cables; as well as raw materials such as copper and aluminum rods, XLPE and PVC insulation compounds, and wood/steel drums. It also offers installation, jointing, testing, commissioning, system design, technical training, monitoring, repair, and maintenance services, serving utilities, EPC firms, industrial, mining, oil and gas, petrochemicals, commercial, residential, and governmental customers across Saudi Arabia, GCC countries, and exports to approximately 34 countries with manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Iraq. Riyadh Cables operates through Cables and Wires, High Voltage Cables, and Other segments, maintaining over 1,500,000 square meters of state-of-the-art production capacity focused on copper and aluminum-based products for energy, construction, oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining, communications, and transportation industries. In late 2025, the company completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Uzbekistan-based Artikul Aziya Kabel for SAR 147.7 million through its wholly owned subsidiary Riyadh Cables Co., following a share purchase agreement in October 2025 and regulatory approvals including from the Uzbek Anti-Monopoly Commission, establishing a regional manufacturing hub to serve Asian and European markets and enhance international operations. Earlier in August 2024, Riyadh Cables signed a development and licensing agreement with UK-based Enertechnos to produce efficient CTS cabling for electricity sector decarbonization, supporting energy transition and net zero ambitions in the Middle East.
