The company provides caretaker services, craftsmen services, and multimedia support to tenants; develops residential properties for rental and sale; and engages in sales activities across its segments, including Rental Germany (covering regions such as Berlin, Chemnitz, Dresden, Erfurt, Gera, Hamburg, Leipzig, Rhine-Ruhr, Rostock, and Salzgitter), Rental Poland (encompassing rental, development for future rental, and related services), Sale Poland (sale of apartments and real estate development), and Other (primarily German sales). TAG Immobilien AG, founded in 1882 and headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, maintains geographic operations in Northern and Eastern Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Poland, where it lists on the MDAX index. In August 2025, the company, through its wholly owned Polish subsidiary Vantage Development S.A., signed an agreement to acquire approximately 5,322 rental units from R4R Poland sp. z o.o. (Resi4Rent) for around EUR 565 million (PLN 2,405 million), a transaction expected to close by late Q3 or Q4 2025 pending Polish antitrust approval and projected to expand its Polish gross asset value to roughly EUR 2.0 billion while advancing its target of 10,000 Polish rental apartments by 2028 ahead of schedule.
