In July 2025, Kirkland's, Inc. rebranded as The Brand House Collective, Inc., changing its ticker from KIRK to TBHC and reflecting strategic partnerships, including accelerated store conversions to Bed Bath & Beyond Home formats, with the first such store opening in Brentwood, Tennessee, in August 2025 and plans for approximately 75 conversions through 2026. Most recently, on November 24, 2025, Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., which already holds about 40% ownership, entered a definitive merger agreement to acquire the company for approximately $26.8 million in equity value, subject to shareholder approval and customary conditions, with an expected close in the first quarter of 2026; this follows a partnership initiated in October 2024, including $17 million in prior funding, a $5 million term loan expansion, and an additional $10 million delayed draw term loan to support store conversions, omni-channel inventory, and operations.
