Business
Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp. is a Cayman Islands-incorporated investment holding company that manufactures and distributes instant noodles, beverages, and other instant food products primarily in the People's Republic of China. The company operates through Instant Noodles, Beverages, and Others segments; it offers ready-to-drink teas, juices, bottled water, and carbonated soft drinks under brands including Master Kong, as well as various instant noodles, coffee/functional/probiotics drinks, bakery products, and instant foods; the Others segment provides property rental and management, consulting, logistics, and support services. Founded in 1992 and headquartered at No. 1688 Wuzhong Road, Shanghai, China, Tingyi serves retail outlets, wholesalers, membership stores, and emerging channels across China through an extensive distribution network exceeding 200,000 points of sale, with a production capacity of around 5 million tons annually for instant noodles. Recent developments include price increases of 17% to 25% on beverages in late 2023 and 8% on instant noodles in May 2024, which supported profit growth despite a 2.7% revenue decline to 40.1 billion yuan in the first half of 2025; sustained product innovation with over 30 new launches in 2023 including health-oriented beverages and premium noodle lines, alongside ongoing flavor upgrades, packaging improvements, and introduction of aerospace technology standards in noodle production via Space-tech Chosen Noodles; strategic partnerships such as the August 2025 alliance with Haier for green low-carbon initiatives forming the "Er Kang" combination, collaboration with Meituan Flash Sale for bottled water promotion, and the longstanding 2012 PepsiCo agreement for exclusive manufacturing and distribution of soft drinks in China; and acceleration of digital transformation through AI-driven solutions, omni-channel marketing, and expansion into snack wholesalers and membership stores.[image:1 from website]
