Business
Tesoro Minerals Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing gold-copper projects in Western South America, with its principal activities centered on the Rumichaca and Cerro Macho epithermal properties in south-central Peru. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company targets early-stage precious and base metals exploration through systematic fieldwork, geological mapping and sampling, data compilation, induced polarization geophysical surveys, community engagement, and corporate development activities. In July 2025, Tesoro signed a definitive agreement with Globetrotters Resource Group Inc. to acquire a 100% interest in the Rumichaca and Cerro Macho projects, and in December 2025 and February 2026 it advanced financing efforts, including an oversubscribed private placement that closed at C$569,000 to support exploration and corporate work. In September 2026, the company expanded a previously announced non-brokered private placement from C$600,000 to C$750,000 and then to C$1.0 million, reflecting continued investor interest and funding for advancement of its Peruvian portfolio.
