Business
Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp. specializes in the design, manufacturing, and global distribution of advanced avionics test and measurement solutions for the commercial airline industry, general aviation, and governmental/military aerospace and defense sectors. The company operates through its Avionics Government and Avionics Commercial divisions. Its instrumentation facilitates the testing, calibration, measurement, and repair of a diverse array of airborne navigation and communication equipment. Key product offerings include the TS-4530A and T-4530i Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) test sets, alongside the T-47/M5 dual crypto test system. Tel-Instrument also provides AN/USM-708 and AN/USM-719 communications/navigation radio frequency flight line testers, the versatile SDR-OMNI avionics test set, and the specialized Lockheed Martin MADL test set for the F-35's secure communications. Recently, Airbus selected the SDR-OMNI for its global manufacturing operations, and the SDR-OMNI/MIL has received a National Stock Number, enabling easier procurement by the U.S. military and NATO partners. The company further offers calibration and repair services. Customers are served either directly or through a network of distributors. Established in 1947, the corporation maintains its headquarters in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
