Founded in 1934 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, at 150 King Street West, Suite 2401, the company operates production facilities in Bécancour, Quebec, through its wholly owned subsidiary Bécancour Silicon Inc. and a majority-owned production partnership known as Québec Silicon with Dow Corning, supplying silicon metal globally to electronics, chemical, aluminum, and solar sectors.
