Nano One Materials Corp. Nano One Materials Corp. (TSX: NANO) is a clean technology company that develops and licenses a patented One-Pot process for the low-cost, low-greenhouse gas production of high-performance cathode active materials used in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, energy storage systems and consumer electronics; its core offerings include lithium iron phosphate (LFP), nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) and lithium manganese nickel oxide (LMNO) cathode powders produced via this single-step process that eliminates wastewater, reduces water usage by 60-80 percent, cuts sulfate byproducts and lowers emissions by 50-60 percent compared to conventional methods. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, the company operates key facilities including an R&D hub in Burnaby and North America's only commercial-scale LFP production plant in Candiac, Quebec, which it acquired in Q4 2022 and plans to expand from 200 to over 1,000 tonnes per annum; it targets global markets through a licensing model supported by over 40 granted patents and 55 pending in major jurisdictions including the US, Canada, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. Recent developments include pre-qualifying battery-grade lithium carbonate from Rio Tinto's Fenix and Olaroz sites in Argentina at C-sample scale for LFP production in October 2025, advancing its strategic collaboration with Sumitomo Metal Mining to pursue LFP opportunities with OEM customers, forming a May 2024 alliance with Worley Chemetics for joint development and marketing of One-Pot plants, securing C$5 million from Natural Resources Canada in 2025 to scale LFP commercialization, and receiving prior non-dilutive funding exceeding C$40 million from governments in Canada, Quebec, British Columbia and the US Department of Defense.
