Business
Gamma Resources Ltd. (TSXV: GAMA) is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company focused on uranium projects utilizing in-situ leach (ISL) methods in the United States; it advances uranium assets in New Mexico and Utah, including agreements to acquire the Green River Project in Emery County's San Rafael Mining District, comprising 41 unpatented lode mining claims targeting uranium mineralization in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison Formation adjacent to Western Uranium & Vanadium Corp.'s San Rafael Project, and the Mesa Arc Project with 41 lode mining claims in northern New Mexico; the company has also developed and licensed a proprietary rare earth element (REE) extraction process from monazite for separation and purification of rare earth oxides and salts. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Gamma Resources operates primarily in the Mountain West region of the U.S., supplying critical raw materials for national security and clean energy objectives with an emphasis on innovation, environmental responsibility, and low-impact extraction. In April 2025, the company, formerly Gabo Mining Ltd., announced an agreement to acquire these U.S. uranium projects and completed a proposed name change to Gamma Resources Ltd. in June 2025; it closed private placements raising aggregate gross proceeds of $1,175,000 by October 2024 with an increase to $2,000,000 targeted; appointed Stephen Goodman and Dr. John R. Carden to its board in June 2025; engaged Momentum IR Corp. for investor relations services and granted options in July 2025; and successfully renegotiated its loan facility in 2024 to support uranium asset development through extended repayment terms into 2026.
