(NYSE: TXT), headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island and founded in 1923, operates as a multi-industry conglomerate focused on aerospace, defense, industrial products and finance; it leverages a global network of subsidiaries serving customers in more than 25 countries with approximately 35,000 employees. The company's six primary business segments include Textron Aviation, which manufactures and services business jets, turboprops, piston aircraft, military trainers and special mission aircraft under Beechcraft and Cessna brands, alongside aftermarket parts, maintenance and repair; Bell, a leading provider of military and commercial helicopters, tiltrotor aircraft, spare parts and services; Textron Systems, offering unmanned systems, electronic solutions, advanced marine craft, armored vehicles, piston engines and defense mission support; Textron eAviation, developing electric propulsion and sustainable aviation technologies including Pipistrel aircraft; Industrial, encompassing Kautex fuel systems and functional components, plus Textron Specialized Vehicles such as golf cars (E-Z-GO), utility vehicles, turf care equipment and aviation ground support; and Finance, providing customer financing solutions. Recent developments feature the December 2025 sale of the first European RIPSAW M3 robotic ground vehicle to Sweden by Textron Systems; Pipistrel's historic type certification for Explorer, Velis Club and X-Eye aircraft in Colombia; Bell securing six new corporate helicopter orders in Europe including Bell 505, 407GXi and 429 models; ATAC's award of a U.S. Navy contract for up to $200 million in Stand-Off Jamming training services; over 700 flight hours achieved by a Bell 505 using blended sustainable aviation fuel; and the appointment of Jörg Rautenstrauch as president and CEO of Textron Specialized Vehicles effective January 2026, alongside a June 2025 partnership with the Royal Thai Air Force for Beechcraft T-6TH and AT-6TH sustainment.
