UniFirst Corporation delivers essential workplace uniforms and specialized protective attire across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company manages its extensive operations through segments dedicated to Uniform & Facility Service Solutions, First Aid & Safety Solutions, and a division for other specialty services, including nuclear solutions. It undertakes the entire process from designing, manufacturing, and personalizing a wide array of uniforms and protective garments, such as shirts, trousers, coats, coveralls, laboratory coats, smocks, and aprons, to handling their rental, cleaning, and distribution. Additionally, the company provides specialized protective wear, including flame-resistant and high-visibility apparel. Beyond garments, UniFirst offers a comprehensive range of facility service items, encompassing industrial wiping products, various types of floor mats, and both dry and wet mops. Its facility offerings also include restroom and cleaning supplies such as air fresheners, paper goods, gloves, masks, sanitizers, and hand soaps. Further expanding its service portfolio, the company provides first aid cabinet servicing and a variety of safety supplies. UniFirst is also equipped to decontaminate and launder work clothing and other materials exposed to radioactive elements, and it services specialized cleanroom protective wear and environments. The company presents diverse garment service options, including full-service rental programs where uniforms are cleaned, maintained, and replaced; lease programs where employees manage laundering; and direct purchase programs for clients to acquire garments and related products outright. Serving a broad spectrum of industries, UniFirst caters to automotive service centers and dealerships, delivery services, food and general merchandise retailers, food processors and service operations, light manufacturers, maintenance facilities, restaurants, service companies, wholesalers of soft and durable goods, transportation entities, healthcare providers, governmental bodies, research and development laboratories, high-technology firms, and utility companies operating nuclear reactors, among others requiring employee attire for professional image, identification, protection, or practical use. Established in 1936, UniFirst Corporation is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
