US Foods Holding Corp. supports its operations through a nationwide network of over 70 distribution facilities, a fleet of more than 6,500 trucks, and approximately 90 cash-and-carry locations, providing customers with complementary e-commerce platforms, technology solutions, and business services. Founded in 2007 through the acquisition of a business unit from Royal Ahold and headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, the company focuses primarily on the domestic foodservice market without significant international operations. In recent developments, US Foods Holding Corp. acquired IWC Foodservice in 2024, Renzi Foodservice and Saladino's Foodservice in 2023, and in November 2025 announced the termination of information-sharing discussions with Performance Food Group following exploratory talks, alongside a planned $250 million accelerated share repurchase and a new $1 billion share repurchase authorization while reiterating its fiscal 2025 outlook and 2025-2027 long-range growth plan.
