Founded in 2009 as Aintree Resources Inc. and renamed Viva Gold Corp. in January 2018, the company maintains headquarters in Langley, British Columbia, and operates primarily in Nevada's mining-friendly jurisdiction with key infrastructure in place and institutional shareholder support. Recent developments include the July 2025 release and August 2025 filing of a comprehensive NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment by WSP Canada Inc. and Kappes, Cassiday & Associates demonstrating project viability at $2,400 per ounce gold, plans to initiate feasibility study work and permitting by end-2025, a March-April 2025 $1.6 million private placement unit financing, and a September 2025 stock option grant to management.
