Business
VR Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: VRR, OTCQB: VRRCF) is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, evaluation, and advancement of greenfields properties targeting critical metals, copper, gold, rare earth elements, and diamonds in underexplored districts. The company explores large-footprint hydrothermal systems and mafic intrusion-hosted deposits through its key projects including the Bonita copper-gold porphyry property and New Boston polymetallic porphyry-skarn system in Nevada, USA; the Silverback intrusion-related gold-copper property; and the Empire District properties featuring Westwood and Mack ultramafic intrusions with copper-gold-PGE potential in Ontario, Canada; as well as the Ranoke, Reveille, Junction, Forsyth, Northway, and Danbo properties. VR Resources employs a prospect-generator model augmented by in-house AI/ML expertise, modern mineral deposit models, state-of-the-art geophysical technologies such as 3D-array DCIP and airborne surveys, and boots-on-the-ground exploration to drive projects toward drilling and discovery. Founded in 2014 as a continuance of private exploration activities with a successful IPO in 2017, the company maintains its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia, and operates exclusively in Nevada and Ontario through a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary for Nevada assets. In recent developments, VR Resources closed the acquisition of the Empire properties in northern Ontario in September 2024, enabling commencement of copper-gold exploration on mafic-ultramafic intrusions. The company completed reconnaissance drilling totaling over 2,500 meters across New Boston, Silverback, and Empire in 2024, confirming widespread hydrothermal mineralization with elevated copper, silver, and molybdenum; advanced geophysical surveys and trenching; and announced a $1.5 million brokered private placement led by Centurion One Capital in October 2025 alongside a concurrent share consolidation and management changes to fund prioritized 2026 programs at New Boston and Bonita. VR Resources also arranged a $400,000 flow-through private placement in late 2024 for additional drilling at Silverback and Empire, acquired three new projects to expand its Kenora-Stormy Lakes (KSZ) strategy, and discovered a kimberlite breccia pipe complex in northern Ontario.
