Business
INVL Technology, AB is a closed-end investment company specializing in the acquisition, development, and growth of information technology, enterprise software, and cybersecurity businesses. Founded in 2014 and established in its current corporate structure in 2015, the company is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and is managed by INVL Asset Management, part of the asset management group Invalda INVL. Operating under a closed-end investment company license issued by the Bank of Lithuania, INVL Technology invests in enterprise IT services, government technology (GovTech), digital registries, and cyber defense across the Baltic states, Scandinavia, broader Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Caribbean. The company delivers its solutions through three primary portfolio groups: IT Services and Software Solutions (Novian Group), GovTech and Digital Infrastructure Consulting (NRD Companies), and Cybersecurity Technologies and Advisory (NRD Cyber Security). Its core product and service offerings comprise: IT infrastructure design, high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, cloud transformation, data storage systems, and critical infrastructure maintenance; custom enterprise software engineering, application modernization, tax and customs administration platforms, and aerospace and defense software systems; automated document digitization, media monitoring tools, and robotic process automation; national business, civil, land, and mortgage registry platform deployment; core banking software integration, omnichannel digital banking systems, and electronic payment solutions; postal automation, track-and-trace logistics systems, and government digital identity solutions; Security Operations Center (SOC) and Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) design, integration, and tooling; continuous threat hunting, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, digital forensics, and incident response; and cybersecurity regulatory compliance advisory, including European NIS2 Directive readiness and ISO/IEC 27001 implementation. INVL Technology serves central governments, national ministries, tax authorities, central banks, retail financial institutions, national postal operators, defense entities, critical infrastructure operators, and commercial enterprise clients worldwide. In recent developments, INVL Technology has transitioned into the strategic realization phase of its investment lifecycle, engaging international M&A financial advisors to manage the structured sale and divestment process of its portfolio companies in preparation for fund maturity. Operationally, the Novian Group completed internal reorganizations to merge and align its Baltic software engineering and infrastructure subsidiaries, while scaling its presence in pan-European high-performance computing and space sector initiatives. NRD Cyber Security introduced specialized NIS2 compliance assessment frameworks and expanded its managed detection and response services across European markets. Concurrently, NRD Companies secured multiple government digital registry and tax modernization contracts backed by international development organizations, including the World Bank, driving further market expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
