- Yorbeau Resources Inc. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and advancement of mineral properties across Québec, Canada. The company focuses on discovering and developing deposits rich in gold, silver, copper, zinc, nickel, and other strategic base metals. In a significant strategic move, Yorbeau recently completed the sale of its flagship Rouyn gold property for a total of $25 million in late 2024 and early 2025. This transaction provides substantial funding, redirecting the company’s efforts towards accelerating exploration and pre-development on its high-potential strategic metal projects, particularly in the Detour, Joutel, and Selbaie regions of northwestern Quebec. The company currently maintains key interests across a diverse portfolio of properties. The Scott Lake property, situated approximately 20 kilometers west of Chibougamau, is 100% owned by Yorbeau and encompasses three distinct blocks. This project is a focal point for zinc-copper exploration, holding indicated and inferred resources, and the company is actively seeking a partner for its further development. Yorbeau also holds a significant position in the Beschefer property, located in northwestern Quebec, which spans about 4,075 hectares across 257 claims. Yorbeau possesses a 100% interest in the majority of these claims, with an 80% undivided interest in 137 claims subject to a royalty. This property, adjacent to SOQUEM’s B-26 deposit, exhibits strong potential for both polymetallic and gold mineralization, with a major exploration program, including over 6,500 meters of drilling and an airborne geophysical survey, planned for 2024 and 2025. The Selbaie West property, located 8 kilometers west of the former producing Selbaie mine, covers 12 kilometers of favorable stratigraphy with potential for copper, zinc, gold, and silver. Yorbeau retains a 100% interest here, subject to a back-in right by First Quantum Minerals Ltd. Similarly, the Landrienne property, southeast of Amos in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, is 100% owned across 62 claims, also subject to First Quantum back-in rights, and hosts the historical Landome VMS deposit, with planned exploration for strategic base metals in 2024-2025. Other significant holdings include the Lemoine property, comprising 103 claims south of Chibougamau, where Yorbeau holds a 79.17% interest in a project that encloses the former high-grade Lemoine Mine. The Joutel-Explo Zinc project, situated north of Amos, integrates former Cancor projects, with Yorbeau holding a 100% interest in certain blocks and a 73.87% joint venture interest with SOQUEM in the Kistabiche block, which contains the Explo-Zinc deposit. The Gemini-Turgeon projects, located north of La Sarre, represent a consolidation of two contiguous mining properties (338 Gemini claims, 5341 hectares, and 125 Turgeon claims, 1043 hectares), held as a joint venture with IAMGOLD and other partners, featuring both polymetallic and gold-bearing zones. Yorbeau also maintains a 51% interest in the Allard property, north of Amos, known for gold mineralization, and the Estrades-Caribou (Caribou) and Castagnier properties. Yorbeau Resources Inc. was established in 1984 and maintains its headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
