In recent developments, the company reauthorized an additional $7.5 million under its existing share repurchase program in October 2025 to buy back common and preferred stock through open market transactions, privately negotiated deals or block purchases; it refinanced two securitizations into a non-mark-to-market financing facility with JPMorgan post-2024 year-end, enabling a two-year reinvestment period and increased leverage to historical levels of 3.5-4 turns; and management plans portfolio growth to $1.8-$2.0 billion by year-end 2025 with a focus on multifamily, hospitality and self-storage sectors amid rising origination activity.
