Business
Antero Midstream Corporation (NYSE: AM) owns, operates and develops midstream energy assets primarily in the Appalachian Basin, including the Marcellus and Utica Shales in West Virginia and Ohio. The company provides gathering and processing services through a network of low- and high-pressure gathering pipelines, compressor stations, and interests in processing and fractionation plants for natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs); water handling services encompassing fresh water delivery from sources such as the Ohio River and regional waterways, produced water transportation, pumping stations, storage and blending facilities; and additional infrastructure supporting compression capacity of 4.6 Bcf/d, 708 miles of pipeline and joint venture processing capacity of 1.6 Bcf/d. Antero Midstream Corporation operates in two segments, Gathering and Processing and Water Handling, generating the majority of its revenue from long-term, fee-based contracts primarily with Antero Resources Corporation. Founded in 2013 and headquartered at 1615 Wynkoop Street in Denver, Colorado, the company focuses on integrated midstream solutions for shale production in North America. In recent developments, Antero Midstream completed a $70 million bolt-on acquisition of gathering and compression assets from Summit Midstream Partners in May 2024, including two compressor stations and 48 miles of high-pressure pipelines, marking its third strategic acquisition in Appalachia over two years and enabling it to gather and compress substantially all of Antero Resources' production. During the third quarter of 2025, the company reported capital expenditures of $51 million, including investments in an integrated water system across the Marcellus Shale liquids-rich corridor and preparations for a Marcellus dry gas pad on dedicated acreage acquired in 2022; it also benefited from Antero Resources' $260 million Marcellus acquisitions adding 75 to 100 MMcfe/d of gathered production and 10 dedicated locations, alongside a $50 million increase in 2025 organic leasing adding 79 locations dedicated to Antero Midstream. Further, Antero Midstream redeemed all $531 million of its 7.875% Senior Notes due 2026 in May 2024 and continued debt reduction supported by strong free cash flow in 2025.
