Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation manufactures and sells highly engineered specialty metal products and customized equipment for commercial and industrial users worldwide. The company operates through two principal segments: Forged and Cast Engineered Products, which produces forged hardened steel rolls, cast rolls, and open-die forged products utilized in hot and cold rolling mills by steel, aluminum, and other metal producers, as well as ingot and engineered products for automotive tooling, plastic injection molding, oil and gas, infrastructure, and general industrial applications; and Air and Liquid Processing, which manufactures custom-engineered finned tube heat exchange coils, large custom-designed air handling systems for institutional, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotechnology markets including gene therapy and MRI labs, and centrifugal pumps for fossil-fueled power generation, marine defense including the U.S. Navy surface fleet, oil and gas, and industrial refrigeration industries. Incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1929 with corporate headquarters in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, the company maintains manufacturing facilities in the United States, England, Sweden, Slovenia, and other locations, generating the majority of its revenue from the Forged and Cast Engineered Products segment. Recent developments include the closure of its UK operations by subsidiary Union Electric Steel in June 2025, the closing of an amended and restated credit facility in June 2025, significant commercial contract wins such as $6.7 million with Ternium Mexico and $5.0 million with a European OEM mill builder announced in July 2024 with deliveries starting in 2025, record new orders and over 50% order intake growth in the Air and Liquid Processing segment for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 leading to a total sales order backlog of $360-365 million, subsidiaries' price increases on forged and cast products in March 2025, and strong Q3 2025 financial performance with 35% growth in adjusted EBITDA driven by improved pricing, higher volumes, and product mix.
