Business
CM Hospitalar S.A., operating commercially under the Viveo brand, is a Brazil-based integrated healthcare solutions provider and distributor specializing in the manufacturing, commercial distribution, specialized logistics, and supply chain management of pharmaceutical products and medical-hospital supplies. The company organizes its activities into four core business segments: Hospitals and Clinics, Laboratories and Vaccines, Retail and Consumer Health, and Healthcare Services. Its product and service portfolio comprises specialty pharmaceuticals, prescription medications, oncology therapies, parenteral nutrition, and sterile solutions; surgical consumables, wound care products, bandages, surgical drapes, and hospital materials marketed under proprietary and commercial brands such as Cremer and Mafra; in vitro diagnostic kits, laboratory reagents, blood collection systems, and molecular diagnostics equipment distributed under Prevena, Biogenetix, and Vitalab; temperature-controlled cold-chain logistics and distribution of human vaccines and immunological products through Tecnocold; consumer healthcare, personal hygiene, and first aid products including cotton pads, swabs, adhesive strips, and wet wipes under brands including Topz, Bellacotton, Salvelox, and Flexicotton; and specialized healthcare services comprising integrated third-party logistics via Health Log, sterile compounding, hospital inventory management, unit-dose repackaging, specialty pharmacy dispensing, and patient support programs through Profarma Specialty and Far.Me. CM Hospitalar S.A. serves public and private hospitals, outpatient clinics, diagnostic laboratories, retail pharmacies, and patients across all regions of Brazil through a nationwide network of distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Ribeirão Preto, State of São Paulo, Brazil, the company is controlled by DNA Capital and trades on the B3 exchange under the ticker symbol VVEO3. In recent developments, following a multi-year consolidation phase comprising more than twenty acquisitions, CM Hospitalar S.A. shifted its corporate strategy toward operational integration, administrative simplification, and balance sheet deleveraging; renegotiated its outstanding debenture debt to extend maturities through 2034 with principal amortization grace periods through 2029; approved capital increases supported by controlling shareholders via debt-to-equity conversions; streamlined logistics through distribution center consolidations and unified enterprise platforms; initiated non-core asset rationalization programs; and appointed André Clark as Chief Executive Officer to steer operational efficiency and disciplined capital allocation.
