- Arsan Holding A.S. is a diversified Turkish conglomerate primarily engaged in textile manufacturing, electric power generation, natural gas distribution, real estate development, and tourism and hospitality operations. Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, the company operates a network of industrial and commercial facilities serving domestic and international markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The company operates through five principal business segments: Textile, Energy, Natural Gas Distribution, Real Estate and Tourism, and Construction. Within its Textile division, the company manufactures and sells open-end and ring-spun cotton yarns, combed yarns, carded yarns, and synthetic blended yarns; raw, dyed, and printed knitted fabrics, including single jersey, pique, interlock, rib, and fleece; woven fabrics; and commission dyeing, washing, printing, bleaching, and textile finishing services. Within its Energy and Gas divisions, Arsan Holding engages in electricity generation through hydroelectric power plants (HEPP) and ground-mounted and rooftop photovoltaic solar power plants (SPP); wholesale electricity trading; and regional urban natural gas distribution network management, pipeline installation, and retail gas supply through affiliated utility enterprises. Within its Real Estate and Tourism division, the company owns, develops, leases, and manages commercial complexes, trade centers, and residential properties; and operates luxury hospitality assets, conference venues, sports facilities, and food and beverage operations, including the Clarion Hotel Kahramanmaraş. In addition, the group provides general construction and infrastructure contracting services, cold storage warehousing, and agricultural production.
In recent strategic developments, Arsan Holding has focused on accelerating its transition toward renewable energy and modernizing its core industrial base. The group has significantly expanded its capital expenditures in self-consumption solar photovoltaic power plants (SPP/GES) to power its energy-intensive textile spinning and fabric finishing plants, mitigating rising energy costs and aligning with European sustainability and carbon-reduction standards. Concurrently, following regional seismic disruptions in Southeastern Turkey, the company undertook comprehensive structural restoration, technological modernization, and equipment overhauls across its manufacturing plants and hotel facilities in Kahramanmaraş, restoring full production capacity and upgrading operational efficiency. Arsan Holding continues to optimize its vertically integrated production supply chain while seeking further investments in clean energy generation and utility infrastructure.
