- Datagate Bilgisayar Malzemeleri Ticaret A.S. is a Turkey-based technology distributor engaged in the wholesale distribution, importation, logistics management, marketing, and after-sales support of telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, and information technology products. Operating as a core subsidiary of Index Group (Indeks Bilgisayar Sistemleri Muhendislik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.), the company distributes technology hardware across Turkey through an extensive distribution network that includes telecommunication operator franchise stores, national electronic retail chains, corporate resellers, e-commerce channels, and independent regional sub-dealers.
The company's core product and service portfolio is systematically organized into: Smartphones and Mobile Devices, distributing mobile handsets from global and regional manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Tecno, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, ZTE, General Mobile, Casper, Mipo, and Huawei; Tablets and Personal Computing Systems, supplying computing hardware, laptops, and tablets from brands including Apple, Samsung, Honor, Casper, Hometech, Huawei, and TCL; Mobile Accessories and Audio Products, providing charging solutions, power banks, audio equipment, headphones, and batteries under brands such as JBL, Ttec, Duracell, and Varta; Next-Generation Smart Technologies and Home Automation, offering robotic vacuum cleaners and smart appliances from Ecovacs and Tineco, virtual reality headsets from HTC Vive and Meta Quest, and artificial intelligence-enabled translation devices from iFlytek; and Telecom Operator Services, providing authorized distribution of operator-exclusive devices, SIM cards, and bundled subscriber hardware solutions.
In recent operational and strategic developments, Datagate Bilgisayar significantly broadened its telecommunications market footprint by completing the transfer of the nationwide Device Distribution and Supply Agreement for Vodafone Turkey from Arena Connect in October 2025 for 8 million US dollars, following official clearance from the Turkish Competition Authority. To support this expanded operator and retail channel infrastructure, the company secured authorized distribution contracts for Apple products in early 2026 and deepened distribution partnerships with major vendor brands including Honor and Huawei. Furthermore, the company partnered with Fibasigorta in 2026 to deliver integrated device protection and insurance solutions across its retail distribution ecosystem, and appointed Serkan Celik as interim General Manager in April 2026 to steer its corporate expansion. Founded in 1992, Datagate Bilgisayar Malzemeleri Ticaret A.S. is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, and has been publicly traded on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker DGATE since 2006.
