- Ofis Yem Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. is a Turkey-based agribusiness and feed manufacturing enterprise primarily engaged in the production, processing, wholesale distribution, import, and export of compound animal feeds and agricultural commodities. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, the company operates across the livestock nutrition sector, supplying commercial livestock producers, dairy enterprises, pastoral farms, and poultry operations throughout the country.
The company manufactures and markets a diverse portfolio of animal feeds systematically segmented by livestock category: beef cattle feeds, including brand lines such as Big Power, Total Beef, Power Beef, Euro Master Beef, Major Beef, Class Beef, and Master Beef; dairy cattle nutrition products, including Farmer Dairy, Master Dairy, Balance Dairy, Oskar Dairy, and Big Top Dairy; calf and heifer feeds, including Farmer Calf, Master Calf, Calf Starter, Calf Growth, and pregnant heifer rations; small ruminant feeds, covering lamb starter, lamb growing, lamb fattening, and sheep milking feeds; poultry feeds, comprising specialized feeds for laying hens, layer chicks, and broiler chickens; and raw agricultural commodities and feedstuffs, including corn, sunflower meal, rice bran, wheat, barley, wheat bran, soybean meal, and sugar beet pulp.
In recent corporate developments, Ofis Yem has executed major operational expansions, capital market transactions, and sustainability investments. Following its initial public offering on Borsa Istanbul in August 2023 under the ticker OFSYM, the company commissioned its fourth automated manufacturing facility in Saricam, Adana, establishing an annual production capacity of 300,000 metric tons across 100,000 square meters to complement existing plants in Ankara, Kars, and Manisa. The company also initiated construction on a fifth production facility situated on a 25,000-square-meter parcel within the Samsun Food Specialized Organized Industrial Zone to expand distribution reach across northern Turkey. To offset rising energy expenditures and reduce operational carbon intensity, Ofis Yem developed and commissioned utility-scale unlicensed rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants (GES) in Bala, Ankara (13.9 MWp) and Arguvan, Malatya (9.9 MWp), while planning additional solar installations in Sungurlu, Corum. Additionally, the company has secured multi-million-dollar international raw material supply contracts for grain byproducts such as distiller's dried grains with solubles (DDGS), amended its articles of association to broaden corporate operating scopes, and implemented strategic share buyback programs.
