- Oylum Sinai Yatirimlar A.S. is a Turkey-based food manufacturing and industrial investment company primarily engaged in the production, marketing, and distribution of packaged snack foods, bakery items, and confectionery products. Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Kayseri, Turkey, the company operates under the ticker BIST:OYLUM and distributes its products under the flagship Oylum brand as well as through private label manufacturing partnerships.
The company operates across multiple core product lines, comprising: sweet and savory biscuits, including plain petit beurre, tea biscuits, finger biscuits, whole wheat biscuits, oat biscuits, and cream-filled sandwich biscuits; wafer products, encompassing bulk and packaged cream-filled wafers in hazelnut, cocoa, vanilla, and fruit varieties, chocolate-coated wafer bars, praline-filled wafers, and specialty coffee cube wafers; cracker varieties, including salted, sesame, and savory snack crackers; confectionery and cocoa-based products, such as chocolate bars, marshmallow biscuits and cakes, compound chocolate snacks, and chocolate sandwich biscuits; and sweet spreads and confectionery goods, featuring cocoa hazelnut creams, breakfast spreads, chewing gums, jellies, and traditional confections.
Oylum Sinai Yatirimlar serves mass grocery retailers, wholesalers, discounters, and foodservice distributors across Turkey and exports its products to more than 40 international markets spanning the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.
In recent operational and strategic developments, the company has expanded its manufacturing footprint by establishing a new production facility covering 16,138 square meters in the Kayseri Free Zone with a capital investment exceeding 5 million USD, aimed at scaling export capacity and producing high-value-added snack lines. To optimize operating expenses and achieve long-term sustainability goals, the company has implemented industrial solar power (GES) installations across its production facilities with the strategic target of achieving complete electrical self-sufficiency and a net-zero carbon footprint. Additionally, the company initiated and actively executes a multi-year share buyback program launched in August 2024 to optimize capital allocation and enhance shareholder value, while focusing commercial efforts on accelerating revenue growth in North American and European export channels.
