Tumosan Motor ve Traktor Sanayi AS is a Turkey-based industrial manufacturing company primarily engaged in the design, engineering, production, and distribution of diesel engines, agricultural tractors, powertrain systems, material handling machinery, and defense vehicle subsystems. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, the company operates as a key industrial subsidiary of Albayrak Holding and maintains an integrated manufacturing campus spanning 1.6 million square meters in Konya, Turkey. The company categorizes its commercial offerings into several core product and service groups: agricultural tractors, comprising two-wheel and four-wheel-drive field, orchard, and compact garden tractors spanning power ratings from 48 to 125 horsepower, including the 8000, 8100, and 81 Evo series; diesel engines, featuring three- and four-cylinder internal combustion diesel engines designed for agricultural equipment, stationary power generators, industrial machinery, and marine vessels; transmission and powertrain systems, including synchronized mechanical transmissions, front and rear drive axles, reduction units, and bespoke vehicular drivetrains; material handling equipment, consisting of diesel and electric industrial forklifts with various lifting capacities; agricultural implements, offering front-end loaders, soil preparation machinery, balers, and livestock equipment; and defense solutions, providing heavy-duty military vehicle engines, marinized naval propulsion systems, and auxiliary power units for armored platforms. Tumosan distributes its products across Turkey and international markets in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa through an extensive network of authorized dealers, service centers, and government contractors. In recent developments, the company has executed several strategic initiatives and product advancements, including entering into an engineering and design collaboration with Italy-based Carraro Agritalia; concluding a powertrain supply and development agreement with South Korea-based Daedong Corporation to integrate advanced drive systems into serial production; launching the next-generation 81 Evo tractor platform, with its 81.110 Evo model selected as a finalist for the Tractor of the Year 2027 awards; delivering indigenous marine diesel engines for unmanned naval defense platforms, notably the ULAQ armed unmanned surface vessel; conducting international defense technical training programs in collaboration with overseas defense authorities, including Libya; establishing agricultural assembly and equipment initiatives in West Africa, notably Senegal; and securing regulatory approval from the Capital Markets Board of Turkey for a lease certificate issuance program of up to 5 billion Turkish Liras to support ongoing capital expenditures, working capital requirements, and research and development operations.
