Verusa Holding AS is a Turkey-based investment holding company engaged in establishing, managing, and investing in companies across diverse industries, with a primary focus on renewable energy, mining and metallurgy, specialty chemicals, information technology, and venture capital. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, the company operates primarily within the domestic market while distributing industrial and chemical products to international markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas. The company conducts its operations through several principal business segments: Renewable Energy, Mining, Chemicals, Technology and Software, and Venture Capital. Through its operating subsidiaries and affiliates, Verusa Holding provides a comprehensive range of products and services, including: renewable power generation from hydroelectric, wind, solar, and geothermal power plants operated through Pamukova Elektrik Uretim AS and Enda Enerji Holding AS; bauxite exploration, mining extraction, and mineral processing conducted via Standard Boksit Isletmeleri AS, alongside precious metal and gold exploration activities managed through Galata Altin Isletmeleri AS; industrial, purified, technical-grade, and ultra-pure carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) derivatives manufactured by Acisel Seluloz Sanayi ve Ticaret AS for application in pharmaceuticals, food processing, cosmetics, paints, oil drilling, paper, textiles, and detergents; enterprise software engineering, telecommunications software architecture, cybersecurity solutions, system integration, and customer relationship management (CRM) applications delivered via Kafein Yazilim Hizmetleri Ticaret AS and Smartiks Yazilim AS; and private equity funding, early-stage capital, and portfolio management services provided through Verusaturk Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS. In recent operational and strategic developments, Verusa Holding has accelerated capital allocations across its renewable energy and resource development platforms. The company has expanded its clean energy footprint by increasing generation capacities and integrating hybrid solar projects across its Pamukova Elektrik and Enda Enerji facilities. In the mining segment, Standard Boksit Isletmeleri and Galata Altin have advanced exploratory drilling programs, license acquisitions, and processing infrastructure to scale raw material production. Concurrently, Acisel Seluloz has implemented facility modernizations and capacity expansion projects to support expanding export volumes in high-purity cellulose derivatives. Additionally, Verusa Holding has deepened its technology portfolio through Verusaturk GSYO by completing strategic funding rounds and growth investments in software scale-ups, reinforcing its long-term focus on energy transition and digital enterprise solutions.
