In early 2025, Granules completed the acquisition of Senn Chemicals AG, a Swiss CDMO specializing in peptides, for CHF 20 million to enter the high-growth peptide segment including GLP-1 receptor agonists for anti-diabetic and anti-obesity markets; in November 2025, its Hyderabad facility secured the first U.S. FDA approval for Metformin HCl following a pre-approval inspection, enabling U.S. product launch and multi-site manufacturing for enhanced market share and business continuity; the company also advances green pharmaceutical zones in collaboration with Greenko in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, and plans FY26 expansions in CNS/ADHD, oncology and oligonucleotides via the acquired entity.
