Incorporated in 1995 and headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Pondy Oxides operates smelters, aluminum, plastics and copper divisions across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh units with over 100,000 metric tons annual lead recycling capacity and exports more than 50% of production to Asia and the Middle East. In 2025, the company commences commercial production at its new 36,000 MTPA lead smelter in Thervoykandigai, Tamil Nadu as first phase of 72,000 MTPA expansion under a 2023 state government MoU, acquires 123 acres in Mundra, Gujarat for future recycling projects starting 2026, approves INR 250 crore Qualified Institutional Placement for growth funding, splits shares to boost liquidity, outlines Target 2030 for 15%+ volume growth and diversification into e-waste and rubber recycling, and invests in ACE Green Recycling Inc.
