Business
Leo Dryfruits & Spices Trading Ltd. engages in the trading, processing, marketing, and wholesale distribution of agricultural commodities, dry fruits, edible nuts, and spices. The company operates through its food commodities segment, supplying a diverse portfolio of products that includes dry fruits and nuts, such as almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, pistachios, raisins, dried figs, and dates; whole and powdered spices, such as green cardamom, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander, and red chili; as well as edible seeds, pulses, grains, and allied food ingredients. The company procures raw agricultural produce from domestic farming hubs and international trade channels, conducting quality inspection, sorting, grading, packaging, warehousing, and bulk distribution to institutional clients, food processors, wholesalers, and retail distributors across India. Originally incorporated in 1995 as Vandana Knitwear Limited and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, the company recently executed a comprehensive strategic reorganization, altering its main object clauses and rebranding to Leo Dryfruits & Spices Trading Ltd. to reflect its operational pivot from legacy textile manufacturing and garment trading into the agro-commodities and specialty dry fruits and spices industry. As part of its latest business transformation, the company expanded its wholesale supply chain networks, developed commercial partnerships with regional agricultural aggregators, and broadened its procurement and distribution infrastructure to capitalize on the growing demand for packaged food ingredients and premium agro-produce.
