- Molinos Agro S.A. is an Argentine agribusiness company engaged in the origination, industrial processing, marketing, and global export of oilseeds, grains, and value-added agricultural derivatives. The company operates through two primary business segments: Oilseeds and By-Products, and Cereals. Its comprehensive product portfolio includes high-protein soybean meal; crude degummed soybean oil; soybean hull pellets; soy lecithin; crude sunflower oil; sunflower seed meal and pellets; biofuels, comprising soybean-based biodiesel; refined and crude glycerin; and unprocessed cereals, primarily yellow corn and wheat. In addition to agricultural manufacturing, Molinos Agro provides integrated agribusiness services, including grain origination, crop conditioning and drying, bulk storage, inland logistics, and dedicated port terminal operations for domestic farmers and multinational customers in the animal nutrition, food processing, and renewable fuel sectors. The company concentrates its processing and export infrastructure at its industrial complex in San Lorenzo, Santa Fe Province, on the Paraná River navigable waterway, operating the deep-water San Benito port terminal to supply agricultural commodities to approximately 50 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Headquartered in Victoria, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, Molinos Agro was established in 2016 following a corporate spin-off of the bulk commodity operations from Molinos Río de la Plata S.A., tracing its industrial heritage back to 1902, and functions as a key entity within the Perez Companc Family Group. In recent developments, the controlling Perez Companc Family Group completed an ownership reorganization in 2024 that consolidated strategic control of the company under Luis, Rosario, and Pilar Perez Companc. Operationally, Molinos Agro expanded its agro-industrial footprint through a multi-million-dollar capital investment to increase sunflower processing capacity to approximately 500,000 tons per year at its San Lorenzo plant, completed the strategic acquisition of industrial and logistical land in Timbúes and Puerto General San Martín from Nutrien, and progressed collaborative logistics initiatives with the Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas. Financially, the company expanded its credit capacity by upsizing its corporate bond issuance program and securing multi-tranche trade financing facilities structured with multilateral lenders, including IDB Invest, to support its global export operations and supply chain liquidity.
