Business
Canadian Goldfields Discovery Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and advancement of district-scale gold properties in Ontario, Canada. The Company’s principal activities include geological mapping; prospecting and rock sampling; soil geochemical surveys; airborne, ground magnetic, electromagnetic, induced-polarization and resistivity geophysical surveys; diamond drilling; interpretation of historical geological, geochemical and drilling data; target generation; and exploration-camp development. Its portfolio comprises the flagship, 6,366-hectare Miminiska Gold Project in northwestern Ontario, within the Miminiska–Fort Hope greenstone belt in Eabametoong First Nation territory, and the 100%-owned Swayze Central Gold Property near Timmins in Ontario’s Swayze Greenstone Belt, an extension of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Miminiska contains gold mineralization associated principally with banded iron formations and shear zones across an interpreted strike trend exceeding 14 kilometres, including the Miminiska and Frond zones; Swayze Central contains historical gold occurrences and exploration targets, including areas near the Michelle Zone. The Company primarily serves the mineral-exploration and mining-investment markets and does not report commercial mine production. Canadian Goldfields is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol CGM and on the OTCQB under the symbol CGMXF. In 2026, the Company completed its acquisition of the Miminiska Gold Property from Storm Exploration Inc., financed the transaction and exploration activities through a concurrent non-brokered private placement, and entered into an exploration agreement with Eabametoong First Nation. The Company also acquired the Newton Gold Property through the acquisition of Newton Gold Corp., expanded its Ontario exploration portfolio, appointed Ian Dasti as Vice President of Exploration and Harp Gosal as Director of Capital Markets and Communications, and commenced OTCQB trading. Recent operational developments include the launch of Miminiska’s 2026 fall exploration program, comprising approximately 1,500 soil samples, an airborne magnetic survey and preparation of a winterized exploration camp to support anticipated winter drilling, as well as completion of an inaugural six-hole, 1,422-metre diamond-drilling program and a 1,808-sample soil geochemical survey at Swayze Central, with drill assays pending.
