ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc., founded in 1898, maintains headquarters in Sparta, Michigan. In March 2025, the company completed its merger with Fentura Financial, Inc., followed by the consolidation of The State Bank into ChoiceOne Bank on March 14, which expanded its footprint into Genesee, Jackson, Livingston, Ingham, Saginaw, Shiawassee and Bay counties, increased total assets to approximately $4.3 billion and created operational efficiencies through geographic and cultural alignment; in 2025, ChoiceOne Bank selected Ameriprise Financial to manage its investment program, integrating the former State Bank investment operations into ChoiceOne Wealth.
