- Conquest Resources Limited is a Toronto, Canada-based mineral exploration company incorporated in 1945. The Company acquires, explores, evaluates and develops precious- and base-metal mineral properties, with an emphasis on gold exploration. Its principal activities include geological mapping; airborne geophysical surveying; soil, till, channel, grab and drill-core sampling; geochemical analysis; target generation; drilling and resource-stage project evaluation. Conquest’s portfolio comprises the 100%-owned Smith Lake Gold Project in the Missanabie-Goudreau Greenstone Belt of northern Ontario, adjacent to the past-producing Renabie Gold Mine, and the Valimaki Gold Project in southwestern Finland. The Smith Lake project encompasses patented mining claims and mineral claims prospective for gold and associated precious metals, while Valimaki is a district-scale gold exploration property characterized by historical exploration data, a roughly 15-kilometre gold-bearing boulder trend and gold-in-till geochemical anomalies. The Company’s exploration targets include gold, copper, nickel, lithium, uranium, platinum-group elements and other base and precious metals, serving the mineral-development and mining industry through the advancement of exploration-stage assets. In February 2026, Conquest entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Carrigel Ltd., the Irish company holding the Valimaki Gold Project, expanding its operations into Finland; it subsequently initiated a 2026 exploration program comprising airborne surveying, geological work, till geochemistry and prospecting, and reported multiple gold-in-till anomalies in July 2026. In August 2026, Conquest expanded field exploration at Smith Lake following channel and grab-sample results, including a reported 15.31 grams per tonne gold over 3.00 metres, and planned a B-horizon soil geochemical survey. Also in August 2026, the Company entered into a definitive agreement with Inventus Mining Corp. to sell its 100% interest in the Belfast-Teck Mag property package, including the past-producing Golden Rose Mine northeast of Sudbury, Ontario, for 8.0 million Inventus common shares and a 2.0% net smelter returns royalty, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance and customary closing conditions.
