- Refined Energy Corp. is a Canadian junior mineral exploration and development company focused on the identification, acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of natural resource properties containing critical minerals, clean energy metals, and precious metals across North America. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the company operates within the basic materials and mining exploration sector. Refined Energy Corp. structures its primary exploration and property development activities across key commodity categories and asset portfolios: gold and antimony exploration through the Golden Goose Project situated in the Beaver Brook antimony district of central Newfoundland; uranium exploration and prospective tenement evaluation through the Basin and Milner projects located in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan; lithium exploration assets including the Horizon South Property situated in the Big Smoky Valley district near Tonopah, Nevada; and comprehensive exploration services encompassing geological mapping, geochemical sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys, structural modeling, and exploratory diamond drilling programs.
In recent corporate and operational developments, the company changed its name from Refined Metals Corp. to Refined Energy Corp. in March 2024 to align its corporate identity with its expanded focus on critical and energy-transition minerals. In July 2026, Refined Energy Corp. executed an option agreement to acquire an interest in the Golden Goose gold-antimony project in central Newfoundland, accelerating its expansion into strategic critical mineral assets. In August 2026, following the completion of a maiden diamond drilling campaign and technical evaluations, the company terminated its option agreement on the Dufferin Uranium Project in Saskatchewan to refocus technical capital and exploration expenditures on the Golden Goose project. Additionally, the company closed a 2.0 million Canadian dollar private placement equity financing in November 2025 to fund advancing exploration programs, following an amended agreement with Searchlight Resources Inc. in September 2025 that extended expenditure milestones on the Basin and Milner uranium properties.
