Business
Sixty North Gold Mining Ltd. Sixty North Gold Mining Ltd. is a Vancouver-based junior gold exploration and development company focused on restarting high-grade gold production at its wholly-owned Mon Gold Project located 40 km north of Yellowknife in Canada's Northwest Territories. The company holds 100% interest in 13 contiguous mining leases covering 494.28 hectares and one mineral claim spanning 127.75 hectares in the South MacKenzie Mining District, targeting gold mineralization in shear zones similar to those at the historic Con and Giant Mines which produced over 14 million ounces of gold; additional exploration targets include a nickel-cobalt-PGM zone discovered in 2021-2022, silver- and gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits, and iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) prospects. Incorporated in 2016 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Sixty North Gold Mining Ltd. possesses full permits for exploration, mining, and milling at 100 tonnes per day, positioning the Mon Mine as the only gold project permitted for production in the Northwest Territories. Recent developments include securing a $3.6 million project financing commitment from Vesta Wealth Partners on November 17, 2025, to fund mill installation and restart operations targeted for summer 2026; completing non-brokered unit financings raising up to $1.65 million in October 2025; purchasing a 100 tpd gravity-flotation mill; and advancing underground development to the second level below historic stopes grading one ounce of gold per tonne, with over $9 million invested to date in equipment, camps, and infrastructure.
