Deere & Company (NYSE: DE), founded in 1837 and headquartered in Moline, Illinois, manufactures and distributes a broad range of agricultural, construction, forestry, and turf equipment, precision technologies, power systems, and financial services worldwide; the company operates through four primary segments including Production & Precision Agriculture, Small Agriculture & Turf, Construction & Forestry, and Financial Services, with significant presence across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and other regions. In Production & Precision Agriculture, Deere offers mid-size tractors, combines, cotton pickers and strippers, sugarcane harvesters, tillage and seeding equipment, sprayers, nutrient applicators, ExactShot precision starter-fertilizer systems, See & Spray intelligent spraying technology, AutoTrac guidance, and Section Control automation; Small Agriculture & Turf provides utility tractors, loaders, riding lawn mowers, commercial turf equipment, golf course mowers, utility vehicles, hay and forage equipment, and implements for mowing, tilling, and snow handling; Construction & Forestry includes backhoe loaders, excavators, dozers, motor graders, articulated dump trucks, skid-steers, log skidders, harvesters, forwarders, and roadbuilding equipment from the Wirtgen Group brands such as Wirtgen cold milling machines, Vögele pavers, Hamm compactors, Kleemann crushers, and Benninghoven asphalt plants; Financial Services finances retail purchases of Deere equipment and provides related services. Deere also offers drivetrain components, engines for industrial and marine use, generator drives, and a portfolio of over 25 brands including Hagie high-clearance sprayers, PLA and Mazzotti self-propelled sprayers, Monosem precision planters, A&I aftermarket parts, Blue River Technology's See & Spray systems, Bear Flag Robotics autonomous solutions, Harvest Profit farm management software, and Kreisel electric batteries; the company emphasizes intelligent connected machines, John Deere Operations Center digital platform, JDLink telematics, and lifecycle support through parts, upgrades, and remanufacturing.
